• Independently taking care of all sample developments assigned for all types of garment accessories (Tag & Label especially).
• Consistently and continually meet or exceed defined requirements for product quality and customer support.
• Ensure immediate and innovative responses to customer.
• Work towards developing service standards and strategies, which would be the company’s competitive advantage.
• Ensure customers standard requirements in terms of delivery, samples and orders are duly recorded to the respective departments.
• Determine current and future expectations of customers and use that information to ensure improvements in quality and service.
• Must have clear sense of color and product.
• Cannot be color blind.
• Must have clear technical knowledge about materials and sources.

Job Context

The incumbent will be responsible to run fabric finishing (knit fabric) department independently and deliver quality fabric to cutting department. Productivity as well as process control (accurate parameter provide & followup) will be judged as his major contribution.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares tentative production plan (machine wise) as well as execute as per forecast
• Provides accurate parameters for different finishing machines (stenter, compactor, dryer, brush, pitch etc)
• Controls fabric quality (e.g. dia, shrinkage, GSM etc) by strictly following machine parameters
• Communicates with textile maintenance team to get feedback about maintenance functions so that production plans are executed smoothly
• Conducts briefing sessions for the floor level people to explain with process sequence of special fabrics
• Ensures transparency in documentation.
